This is a very good place for the beginner to start. I have this kit and also emailed Mr. Lemay on the order to begin learning traditional animation. The Tips and Tricks #1 goes with learning kits 1 and 2; while Tips and Tricks 2 goes with learning kits 3 and 4. According to Mr. Lemay, you would need to also read Designing Cartoon Characters for Animation Vol. 1 book and The Animation Drawing Course (Vol 2) book to go with the applicable DVD.
When I began to watch the first DVD, Intro to Animation, it was stalling, and stopping. The other four DVDs were fine when I played them in my DVD player.
I know Lightfoot Ltd. can\'t open and check all DVD\'s but Brian Lemay needs to check the DVDs to ensure that they are not played with problems. The DVD was replaced at no charge and now all of them work fine.
